Isaac Mizrahi

The new independent bookstore of Frisco, Legacy Books, held a book signing with our second favorite fashion designer, Isaac Mizrahi, tonight from 7 to 9 pm. Mr. Mizrahi was on hand to answer questions and sign copies of his new book, How to Have Style, and he was just about as adorable as Robert Cavalli.

His fashion advice? Revamp your hair and shoes first. Buy a khaki trench - it's a staple. Patterned tights and flats are hot for fall. Oh, and buy his book, of course.

Michael Kors

Project Runway judge and fashion designer Michael Kors made an appearance at Neiman Marcus at Northpark Mall today to sign autographs from 2 to 4 pm. We weren't able to make it, but we were told those who purchased one of his fragrances also received a free gift.

New Kids on the Block

The New Kids on the Block rocked the American Airlines Center in Dallas tonight with a solid set that made us more excited to see them than embarrassed for them, like we thought we'd be.  The Kids played a two-hour, high-intensity show for a packed-but-not-sold-out crowd that Donnie Wahlberg claimed might have been the loudest show on the tour thus far.

The set list included classics such as "Hangin' Tough," "The Right Stuff," and "Please Don't Go Girl," as well as a few tracks from their new album, including "Grown Man," and their new singles, "Single" and "Summertime."

Brothers Jordan and Jon were later spotted at a local hotel, where Jordan signed autographs and took pictures with a handful of fans, while Jon smoked a cigarette and talked on his cell.

Sheryl Crow

Fort Worthians, listen up! Singer Sheryl Crow will be at the Dillard's at Hulen Mall today from 4 to 4:30 pm promoting her new clothing line.

Really? Only 30 minutes?? C'mon, Sheryl...

Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson performed tonight at the State Fair as her main cowboy, Tony Romo, stood in the sound booth and blushed as she gushed. As much as their cuteness makes us sick, we still love them together. Yee-haw.

Jessica will also be signing autographs and showing off her new fragrance, Fancy, at Dillard's at Northpark Mall tomorrow from 2 to 4 pm, but you'll have to spend at least $89 on her merchandise to get in line!

Anthony Hopkins

One of our favorite actors of all time, Sir Anthony Hopkins, premiered a collection of original musical compositions and artwork tonight at the Myerson Symphony Center with the DSO.

We're sure it was amazing, but unfortunately, we're in San Antonio following our favorite 80's band, New Kids on the Block.

Mr. Hopkins also made an appearance on Good Morning Texas on Thursday morning, followed by a dinner with Stephanie Hunt of AFI Dallas at Hunt's home. Wednesday night, Hopkins dined at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek.

Jessica Simpson

SPOTTED: Jessica Simpson dining at Luna de Noche at Northpark with an older lady around 2:30 pm today. Guess she's already in town for her big performance at the State Fair on Friday...and to see beau Tony Romo, we're sure.

Mark Wahlberg

Mark "Marky Mark" Wahlberg was spotted on the red carpet in Deep Ellum tonight promoting his new movie, "Max Payne," based on the video game of the same name.  Local artist Frank Campagna has painted a mural on the side of the old Gypsy Tea Room building depicting Wahlberg as Payne, and a slew of local reporters and reporter wanna-be's were on hand to interview Wahlberg, who spent at least an hour fielding questions and being ridiculously good looking (and sweet!). After the red carpet, Wahlberg was whisked off to dinner at the Mansion.

Wahlberg will also be a guest on the Kidd Kraddick show on KISS FM at 8 am tomorrow morning, as well as appearing on Good Morning Texas at 9:20 am with "Max Payne" co-star Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges.

James Earl Jones

Darth Vader's voice, and the amazing actor behind it, James Earl Jones, was at the Belo Mansion this morning for an opening announcement about the new Dallas Center for Performing Arts.

The Center will open October 12, 2009.

Candace Bushnell

Sex and the City and Lipstick Jungle writer Candace Bushnell will do a live taping of The Writer's Studio tonight at 7:30 pm at the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson to discuss her new book, One Fifth Avenue. Tickets range from $20 to $34.

Ms. Bushnell also made an appearance in the Garden Room at the Crescent Court Hotel this afternoon, mingling and signing for about 250 women.

On the afternoon of September 26th, she attended her book launch party at the Ferragamo boutique.
